Government of Nepal has recognized National Kidney Center to run the free dialysis to Senior citizen 75 years above and indigenous tribes in the priority programme through budget speech 2008/2009. This programme has been implemented till date only at National Kidney Center in Nepal.
Indigenous tribes means Kusunda, Bunkariya, Raute, Surel, Hayu, Raji, Kisan, Lepchha, Meche & Kusbaadiya.
